Vacuous Lying Chameleon
By Patrick Hall
I was sorting through the dozens of articles I have authored since 1991, including those pieces FJM has graciously given me the opportunity, when I came across a column I wrote before the 2020 Presidential. Well, we all know how that turned out. I want to think, this time around, many Indigenous black voters will come to their senses and cease voting for the Democrat nominee for President because of the nonchalant way Kamala Harris (a vacuous lying chameleon), Joe Biden, Barrack Obama, and the DNC have replaced them with the new “government-dependent-Negroes-on-the-block.” They are the 11-20 million illegal immigrants. Let me emphasize here they are not migrants but “illegal immigrants.”
In any case, the Black Democrat Political class has pretty much stopped all pretenses that they work for its constituency. They mostly care about their own 2-6-year cushy federal government gigs.
The truth is, all Americans will be royally screwed if not betrayed by our political class, if this deliberate national suicide pact of unfettered illegal immigration and open borders is not addressed.
However, returning to my original concern, I would give anything to be completely wrong about blacks overwhelming voting Democrat in the November Presidential. However, we are only a few weeks from the upcoming election, and the polls still show that Black Americans will vote overwhelmingly for VP Harris. The latest CNN poll shows that over 80% of blacks will vote for the Democrat nominee. It is my deepest wish that the black community will come to its senses and stop voting in mass for Kamla Harris’, Hakeem Jeffries, and the greater Black Democrat cartel.
I would give anything to be completely wrong about blacks mind-boggling giving their vote to the Democratic nominee. In Post-Civil Rights America, Democrats, as typified by the Harris/Walz ticket, will continue their habit of improving the lot of black political class. At the same time, the fortunes of rank-and-file black voters will largely be taken for granted or conveniently ignored by the same Democrats who claim to care so much about the plight of the poor and the black underclass.
The Congressional Black Caucus, the NAACP, Al Sharpton’s Nation Action Network, Black Lives Matter, and others will continue to garner monies, political power, and adulations, but little will change. This is despite the endemic dysfunctionality in far too many Democrat-controlled urban areas over the past three generations. Blacks will continue (if not stupidly) to vote in Democrat candidates (in this case, VP Harris and others, who once in office, can comfortably neglect their loyal if not politically gullible, constituencies.
I’m again reminded of a curt dialogue in the movie Animal House. In one scene, the protagonist and his friends borrow a fellow fraternity brothers’ automobile and later return the vehicle completely trash. When the troubled frat brother tries to hold his so-called friends responsible for destroying his truck, his fraternity brothers exclaim --- Sorry about your car, but you messed up! You trusted us. Since the Great Society Program of the 1960s, Democratic politicians, both black and white, have treated its black polity the same way. Sadly, many black folks seem to fall for the maxim, “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, I’m a Black Democrat.” Keeping black people ignorant, dependent, and angry has been a successful formula for the Democrats (historically the Party of Slavery) to garnish their votes ad infinitum. It is the Rubicon that the Black community will not cross. I don’t see 2024 being any different.
