Revolution
of Restoration
Two hundred years after Freedom's Journal first gave a people the power to plead their own cause, we are calling the church to rebuild what a generation has let fall - faith, family, and freedom. The Restoration Tour is where it begins. The movement is where it goes.
The cause is not finished.
On March 16, 1827, Freedom's Journal published its first issue - the first Black-owned newspaper in America - with a single conviction: "We wish to plead our own cause." Two centuries later, that cause endures.
The Revolution of Restoration is Freedoms Journal Institute's multi-year movement to restore a biblical foundation for government, liberty, family, and enterprise - anchored to the bicentennial of Freedom's Journal on March 16, 2027. It is not a program to attend. It is a return to build.
"You shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in."Isaiah 58:12 · ESV
